Sarah Winkler Presented by K Contemporary. Sarah Winkler is a British-American contemporary landscape painter who is best known for her monumentally scaled works that meet at the intersection of art and science. Her color-rich, luminous paintings interpret the geological storied past and eventful present of the formation of the American Western landscape. In direct response to her subjects, the artist incorporates crushed minerals from the region with ground water to create moments of connection, discovery and exploration in each piece.
